These Terms govern your use of the Maroon Rider and Maroon Driver applications.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.


1. Service Description

Maroon provides a digital platform connecting riders seeking transportation with drivers offering rides.
Maroon is not a transportation company; drivers operate as independent contractors.


2. User Accounts

A. Eligibility

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must provide accurate and complete information

  • Must comply with all applicable Qatar laws

B. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Keeping credentials confidential

  • All activity under your account

  • Updating your information when necessary

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations.


3. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must:

  • Maintain valid driving license & vehicle registration

  • Keep vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy

  • Follow all traffic rules and safety requirements

  • Not engage in unsafe, illegal, or abusive behavior

  • Not cancel trips repeatedly or misuse the system

Maroon may suspend drivers who fail to meet standards.


4. Rider Responsibilities

Riders must:

  • Provide correct pickup location

  • Show respectful behavior toward drivers

  • Pay the full fare without fraud or abuse

  • Avoid damaging vehicles or causing disturbances


5. Payments & Fees

  • Fares are calculated based on distance, time, surge, and other factors.

  • You authorize Maroon to charge your selected payment method.

  • Maroon may adjust fares in cases of fraud, incorrect routing, or disputes.


6. Cancellations

  • Riders may cancel before a driver arrives; cancellation fees may apply.

  • Drivers should not cancel without valid reasons; repeated cancellations may lead to penalties.


7. Prohibited Activities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the app for unlawful purposes

  • Harm or threaten users

  • Reverse engineer the app

  • Create fake accounts

  • Interfere with platform operation

  • Commit fraud or abusive behavior


8. Limitation of Liability

Maroon is not responsible for:

  • Personal injury

  • Lost property

  • Delays, cancellations, or route errors

  • Driver or rider misconduct

  • Accidents or road conditions

The app is provided “as is” without warranties.


9. Termination

We may suspend or delete accounts for:

  • Violating Terms

  • Fraud or misconduct

  • Safety concerns

  • Law enforcement requests

Users may delete their accounts at any time.


10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar.
